KIDS’ PAGES

Hey kids! I’m Sniffy. Now, as a skunk, I certainly know about distinctive odors, like natural gas and propane. And, you know what? I know lots about gas safety too. After you visit my Web site, so will you!

Are you ready to have fun learning about natural gas and propane? These cool activities will help you get to know me better and understand more about gas safety. Print my picture and color it or try my maze and crossword puzzle.

And, my friend Maria has shared her coloring book with me, featuring her special friends Care E. Cardinal, Wally and Wiggles, and their important message about knowing what’s below the ground, calling 811 and digging with C.A.R.E.

Kids, if you EVER smell gas in the air, remember: Smell Gas? Act Fast! This means don’t delay—get away! Don’t look for the leak. Don’t use or touch anything electrical. Don’t even use a cell phone. Leave the area. Then, call your gas provider.

And, be sure to teach Smell Gas? Act Fast! to your family too. It will only take a few minutes to explain what you’ve learned, and besides, everyone should know what to do if there ever is a gas leak at home, school, or wherever life may take you!

Thanks—have an awesome day!
